Cantaloupe Pork Rind Crumble

Fruit meets its perfect match with our Cantaloupe Pork Rind Crumble recipe. Bold and flavorful pork rinds add just a bit of savory to this sweet summer fruit.

Ingredients
• 1 cup Southern Recipe Small Batch Pineapple & Ancho Chili Pork Rinds, finely crushed
• 3 slices Bacon, cooked and diced
• 3 Garlic cloves, minced
• 1/2 cup Pecans, chopped
• 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
• 1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
• 1 Cantaloupe, cut into bite-sized pieces
• Fresh mint, for garnish
Directions
1. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of bacon fat or olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
2. Stir in the chopped pecans and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
3. Add the cooked bacon, brown sugar, and kosher salt. Stir to combine and let caramelize slightly.
4. Mix in 1–2 tablespoons of crushed Southern Recipe Small Batch Pork Rinds and stir to incorporate.
5. Arrange cantaloupe pieces on a serving platter. Sprinkle with the warm bacon-pecan crumble, additional crushed pork rinds, and fresh mint.
6. Serve immediately for a sweet, smoky, and crunchy summer dish.
