Hot Chile Fried Egg

Ingredients
• 2 Tbsp. Southern Recipe Small Batch Hot Honey Sweet BBQ pork rinds, crushed
• 1 1/2 cups Vegetable oil
• 4 Shallots, finely sliced
• 1 tsp. Garlic, minced
• 1/4 cup Red pepper flakes
• 3 Cinnamon sticks
• 1 Tbsp. Ginger paste
• 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
• 2 tsp. Sugar
• 1 Egg
Directions
1. In a large frying pan, combine vegetable oil, shallots, cinnamon sticks, and garlic. Simmer over low heat 20-25 minutes, until shallots are golden brown.
2. Stir in red pepper flakes, ginger paste, soy sauce, and sugar. Cook 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
3. In a separate frying pan, fry egg to desired doneness. Spoon 1 Tbsp. chile mixture over egg while cooking.
4. Top finished egg with crushed pork rinds before serving.
