Chewy Granola Bars 1 cup Southern Recipe Small Batch Pork Rinds, Pineapple & Ancho Chile, crushed

4 Tbsp. unsalted butter

4 cups puffed grain cereal, unsweetened

1 cup old-fashioned oats

1/2 cups pecans

1/2 cup almonds, sliced

1/2 cup coconut flakes, unsweetened

2/3 cup sweetener

2/3 cup agave syrup

1/2 Tbsp. kosher salt

2/3 cup almond butter

1 Tbsp. vanilla extract


1. Butter a 13x9" baking dish. Toss puffed cereals, oats, and dried fruits, nuts, seeds and/or coconut (all mix-ins except chocolate chips) in a large bowl with your hands to evenly distribute.

2. In a microwave-safe bowl, add sweetener, agave syrup, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals until the mixture is fully melted and combined well. Remove from heat and stir in almond butter and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle over granola mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.

3. Scrape mixture into buttered pan and press down into an even layer.

4. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top, and enjoy!

Optional: Bars can be made 1 week ahead. Store airtight at room temperature.
