Beer Cheese Fondue

Ingredients


• 1 bag Southern Recipe Small Batch Pork Rinds, for dipping

• 3 Tbsp. Butter

• 3 Tbsp. Flour

• 3/4 cup Beer

• 1 cup Milk

• 1/2 tsp. Garlic powder

• 1/2 tsp. Onion powder

• 1/2 tsp. Kosher salt

• 1 cup White cheddar cheese, shredded

• 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded

• 1 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded



Directions


1. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour to form a smooth roux — this will help thicken your sauce.

2. Slowly pour in the beer and milk, whisking continuously to avoid clumps and prevent the bottom from burning.

3. Continue whisking until the mixture thickens and becomes smooth.

4. Remove the pot from heat and stir in all cheeses, along with the garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix until melted and creamy.

5. Pour into a small bowl and serve warm with Southern Recipe Small Batch Pork Rinds for dipping.
