Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. Southern Recipe Small Batch Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper pork rinds, crushed
1 Tbsp. Butter
1 lb. Ground sausage
1 Onion, diced
16 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp. Crushed red pepper flakes
1 loaf Rye bread, cut into squares
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 °F.
In a large saucepan, sauté the onion with butter until golden brown.
Add ground beef, and cook until the meat is fully cooked through.
Add the crushed red pepper flakes, cheese, and 1 tablespoon of crushed pork rinds. Slowly mix until fully melted.
Place the rye bread on a baking sheet, and scoop the meat mixture on top of each piece of bread.
Top with extra crushed pork rinds, and bake for 10 minutes or until the toast is golden brown. Enjoy!
