Cheesy Beef Toast

Ingredients
• 1 Tbsp. Southern Recipe Small Batch Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper pork rinds, crushed, plus more for topping
• 1 Tbsp. Butter
• 1 lb. Sausage, ground
• 1 Onion, diced
• 16 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
• 1 tsp. Red pepper flakes, crushed
• 1 loaf Rye bread, cut into squares
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a saucepan, sauté onion with butter until golden brown.
3. Add sausage. Cook until fully browned.
4. Stir in red pepper flakes, cheddar cheese, and 1 Tbsp. pork rinds. Mix until cheese melts.
5. Place rye bread squares on a baking sheet. Spoon sausage mixture on top.
6. Sprinkle with additional pork rinds. Bake 10 minutes, until toast is golden brown.
